Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum

Todays blog is about a new foundation coming out by Maxfactor.
Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum.
I have been a member of Savvy me for sometime now, this is a great site with great news articles and offers.
I was asked by Savvy me to upgrade my member ship to the members cirle. (free).
By upgrading the membership I was given the oppurtunity to sign up to some projects to be a tester.
Lucky me I got picked for one of them that I signed up to and it was for the Maxfactor foundation. I was so pleased to be picked ( I was informed by email). Imagine my glee when I got home from work to find a huge box of goodies, I received about 20 samples of the new foundtion and a full size bottle for myself worth about £15.99. The samples are to share with friends and family. They also sent question sheets to fill in to feedback the info you have collected from your friends and family, as you can imagine I am very popular with my friends now.
So I wanted to share with you what I though of the new product and a few snippets of what my friends said.
First of all the first thing I noticed when I opened the sachet was what a great smell it was, I have never known a foundation to smell so good (I'm really not exaggerating) Its a really nice summer flowerery smell, anyway after I got over how lovely it smelt, I tried it out, first i used quite a bit of the sachet to give a good all over coverage. It covered really nicely and felt creamy, I wore a dab of translucent powder over my face (im a bit of a powder freak like the Matt look) but I think some people wouldnt bother with the powder as it blends in and gives a bit of a powdery feel once applied anyway. I put it on early morning and wore it all day for work, when I got home I looked in the mirror and was pretty surprised at how much was still on my face. It was a good covering lasting a good 8 hours and counting without being to cakey. The next day I tried the Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum again, but this time used less as I wanted to see what a lighter coverage would be like. Again once I got over how lush it smells, I applied some under my eyes and chin and cheek areas, (had a few blemishes that week that I needed to cover.) I loved the lighter coverage too, and reaslly liked the fact that the foundation was quite versitile as some foundations its all or nothing.
My family and friends are still sampling the main comment I get about the Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum is the smell and how great it is. All in all I would recommend this foundation, it comes in the standard Maxfactor colours but the natural one is a good all rounder.
