Max Factor Ageless Elixir Part 2

I was supposed to get on here yesterday and do a little update on the Maxfactor foundation but having problems with my laptop.
Ok after using the new Maxfactor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1foundation and serum, I'm really happy with the results, I think its a fab foundation for day wear and night wear. I like to look after my skin so I especially like foundations that contain an SPF. (this foundation contains SPF 15)
Ive been handing out my samples and the response Ive been getting is great, as I mentioned in the last blog, I love the smell and this seems to be popular amoung my friends too! I was chatting with my friend about the foundation the other day as she was applying it, and she was pleasently surprised at how well it covered her spots and blemishes without the need of a concealer. After she applied the foundation to her whole face, she then reavealed the outcome to myself and another friend who I was with, my other friend iNstantly noticed the smell, (I know i keep banging on about the smell), but I thought you would only be able to smell it on yourself, so was surprised when she said she could smell it just standing next to her. (its not an overpowering smell, quite a subtle flowery smell). Anyway both girls loved the look of the coverage. One of them was off on holiday that day so I gave her a few more samples and when she gets back I will ask her how long it stayed on after travelling. I like this foundation alot and all responses have been really positive, so well done Maxfactor!!

Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum

Todays blog is about a new foundation coming out by Maxfactor.
Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum.
I have been a member of Savvy me for sometime now, this is a great site with great news articles and offers.
I was asked by Savvy me to upgrade my member ship to the members cirle. (free).
By upgrading the membership I was given the oppurtunity to sign up to some projects to be a tester.
Lucky me I got picked for one of them that I signed up to and it was for the Maxfactor foundation. I was so pleased to be picked ( I was informed by email). Imagine my glee when I got home from work to find a huge box of goodies, I received about 20 samples of the new foundtion and a full size bottle for myself worth about £15.99. The samples are to share with friends and family. They also sent question sheets to fill in to feedback the info you have collected from your friends and family, as you can imagine I am very popular with my friends now.
So I wanted to share with you what I though of the new product and a few snippets of what my friends said.
First of all the first thing I noticed when I opened the sachet was what a great smell it was, I have never known a foundation to smell so good (I'm really not exaggerating) Its a really nice summer flowerery smell, anyway after I got over how lovely it smelt, I tried it out, first i used quite a bit of the sachet to give a good all over coverage. It covered really nicely and felt creamy, I wore a dab of translucent powder over my face (im a bit of a powder freak like the Matt look) but I think some people wouldnt bother with the powder as it blends in and gives a bit of a powdery feel once applied anyway. I put it on early morning and wore it all day for work, when I got home I looked in the mirror and was pretty surprised at how much was still on my face. It was a good covering lasting a good 8 hours and counting without being to cakey. The next day I tried the Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum again, but this time used less as I wanted to see what a lighter coverage would be like. Again once I got over how lush it smells, I applied some under my eyes and chin and cheek areas, (had a few blemishes that week that I needed to cover.) I loved the lighter coverage too, and reaslly liked the fact that the foundation was quite versitile as some foundations its all or nothing.
My family and friends are still sampling the main comment I get about the Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum is the smell and how great it is. All in all I would recommend this foundation, it comes in the standard Maxfactor colours but the natural one is a good all rounder.

Hello World!!!

So this my new beauty blog, I'm quite excited by it all.
In this blog I will be reviewing new and old products and sharing with you my outcomes.
In the past I have struggled to find a blog that compares the expensive beauty with the inexpensive beauty. I know we all like to splash out on the good stuff but sometimes (normally at the end of the month) your wallet just doesnt allow for it. I will be showing you how you can get the same look for a budget.
I have also recently subscribed to Boudior Prive Beauty Box, so each month I will be reviewing that too.
I subscribed to this for the September Box (which has now sold out) and (I'm told) they are sending them out at the end of this week, so hopefully I will have it next week. As soon as I do I will be uploading the video of me opening it and the reviewing the goodies inside.
I thought long and hard about which beauty box to subscribe to. There are as far as i'm aware (there could be more) 3 beauty boxes on the market now, Boudior Prive, Glossy Box and Feel Unique. Boudior Prive beauty box, is a monthly subscription of £10 a month, Feel Unique is monthly subscription of £9.95, if you pay for the whole year in one you get 12 boxes for the price of 11, and finally glossy box which is £10 plus £2.99 for p&p, September is the first month Glossy Box have applied this charge and although the Glossy Box has been pretty good last couple of months the p&p put me off, so I opted for the Boudior Prive. So tune in next week for that.
Im also a massive freebie freak and I trawl the internet for the latest freebie, so I will also be posting the links to those to share with you.
